Responds to incoming inquiries and/or requests regarding health concerns and/or service needs. Supports mother-to-be by providing information and favors with an efficient and courteous attitude. Participates in investigating and resolving baby room concerns, body-image issues, emotional breakdowns, extended family sagas and financial complications. Supports week-by-week baby growth tracking, price comparison shopping, and scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategically compliments mother-to-be without referencing any pregnancy-related changes. Cleans up vomit when necessary in as chipper a fashion as humanly possible. Suppresses the urge to make light of or even casually reference radical changes in partner’s eating habits. Eagerly forgoes watching crucial football games to attend Lamaze classes to learn how to breathe. Turns off phone ringer in master bedroom, turns on the microwave, turns off light switches, turns on the air conditioner and turns off the heat, upon request. Checks in with the mother-to-be on a regular basis to determine any pressing or new needs.iStock_000003154367XSmall_jobinterview

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates basic knowledge of care giving duties. Previous experience in a relationship is required.

Key Working Relationships:

Primary relationship is with mother-to-be. The future of your career with this company is directly dependent on her satisfaction with your job performance. Regular contact with parents and siblings, if any, a must. Relationships with new fathers and other expecting fathers are mandatory.
